How to Get Here

Dreamcatcher Lodge is

• less than one hour's drive along the M5 from Sydney Airport,
  
• 2 hours drive from Newcastle on the M7 then M5,
  
• 40 minutes from Wollongong along Picton Road,
  
• 30 minutes from Bowral and
  
• just over 2 hours from Canberra.

Coming from Sydney you can do almost the whole stretch on expressway, exiting at Picton Road and turning right into Picton Road head all the way into Picton Village .... or ... if you have time, take the scenic drive by exiting at the Crossroads and travelling along Camden Valley Way through Camden and over Razorback Mountain into Picton Village.  It doesn't take much longer and is well worth the drive.

Whichever way you come from the north or east, once you reach Picton Village, Dreamcatcher Lodge is exactly 4.1km south from the Picton Road and Argyle Street junction in the centre of the Village - towards Tahmoor.  You will pass the following:

• the George IV Hotel on your left and Barkers Lodge Road on your right
• under the rail viaduct
• up the hill and down the other side pass the Thirlmere turnoff
• pass BP on your right,
• then Mitre 10 on your right
• then Picton High School on your left
• when you come to the 75km curve, keep an eye out on the right for Dreamcatcher Lodge and two driveway entrances - ours is the second one ... the white post and rail entry.
• if you get to Tahmoor you have gone too far!
  

Coming from the south, take the exit from the M5 at Bargo and travel along the old Hume Highway through the villages of Bargo and Tahmoor or alternatively, stay on the Hume Highway take the Picton Road exit from the expressway.

Once you reach Tahmoor shopping centre, we are 2.1km from the KFC roundabout in Tahmoor.  You will be in an 80km zone so be careful and take the first driveway on the left after you come around the second curve - you will be able to see the Lodge up on the hill to your left as you come around the curves.  It is located across the road from the Carlton Stud and has a white timber post and rail entrance.  If you get to Picton High School you have gone too far!
