The Guest Lounge

Just outside the Lodge's guest bedrooms door is the comfortable guest lounge opening out to a verandah overlooking the garden.  The lounge is decorated with a wide collection of blue and white china from all parts of the world with a touch of 'the sea and lighthouses'.  The scene through the windows is of a large pond complete with water-lilies, frogs and dragonflies!

In winter, relax in front of the wood fire with a latte and a piece of homemade cake.  In the warmer months it is lovely to sit in the cool of the verandah overlooking the garden and pond or in the evening enjoy a glass of local wine and tapas plate whilst watching the colours in the sky through the pines or the ducks overhead returning to the Nepean in V-formation.  Percy, our resident Peacock puts on a display most evenings before leaping to the top of the Ironback Gum behind the garage to his night resting place.  

Play a game of chess or cards, or just veg out with a book or magazine.  There are games, books, magazines, DVDs and CDs for inside entertainment or a variety of outdoor games as well - including giant pick up sticks, croquet, badminton, boules and Bobby, our loveable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, will always be happy to chase a ball if you feel like throwing it! 

Our garden has only been planted out and landscaped over the last twelve months but we feel we have 'good bones' in place!  The pond takes pride of place and hopefully there will be a bridge shortly leading to the rose walk and planned gazebo.
